I couldn’t help thinking Donald Trump’s foreign-policy speech last week might actually have been halfway decent, based on the screeches from the neocons and the cheers from some noninterventionists.
Then I read it, and, well, I’m not so sure.
So I did what anyone in my situation would do: I invited Scott Horton, the walking foreign-policy encyclopedia, onto my podcast to help me sort it out.
Scott hosts the Scott Horton Show, where he has done over 4,000 interviews. He hosts Antiwar Radio on KPFK 90.7 FM in Los Angeles, and he’s Opinion Editor at Antiwar.com.
And he’s a Tom Woods Show favorite.
Warning: strong medicine:
Today’s goodies:
(1) Want to learn the economics of the Austrian School but don’t know what to read first? I’ve got all my key recommendations available for you at LearnAustrianEconomics.com.
(2) A bunch of my friends (and I guess I myself) have become what might be called virtual CEOs. We have online businesses (and I work at things my listeners don’t even know about, too) we can run from our computers, from anywhere in the world.
One of my mentors, who has created ten such businesses, has put up a video series for a very limited time, showing how he did it. (I like video #2 in particular.) It’s here, and I highly recommend it:
Tomorrow on the show: the fossil-fuels advocate who took on Barbara Boxer.
