Economist Bob Murphy joined me last week to take apart Thomas Piketty’s celebrated book Capital in the Twenty-First Century. It isn’t just Austrian economists who find fault with the book, it turns out; quite a few economists have noted that Piketty makes basic, even embarrassing mistakes in treating basic concepts.
