Some young Ron Paul guys have created an amazing platform, Vokle.com, that allows for all kinds of wonderful web events. We use it at Liberty Classroom for the live events that supplement our downloadable courses. At our first live event, not long ago, three U.S. historians (Kevin Gutzman, Brion McClanahan, and I) were on the screen at once, taking people’s questions. Afterward, the recording includes a questions tab (next to the volume button); clicking it brings up all the questions that were asked — and if you like, you can click on just the questions you think you might be interested in, and go directly to our answers to those. Amazing.
Next time my Internet connection will be much faster, now that we’re in a much less rural location. But all things considered, this was a very successful inaugural live session.
You can watch the whole thing right here. This is the future.
(And speaking of the future, our next live session, this one with our Austrian economist, will take place on June 20!)
