In 2012 it was Herman Cain, then Rick Perry, then Newt Gingrich, then Rick Santorum — any non-Ron Paul candidate would do for the alleged conservatives. Not one of them would have changed a thing, which is how conservatives must like it.
Now it’s Marco Rubio and Chris Christie. I’ve discussed Rubio a bit in the past, but now we have Christie’s new budget out of New Jersey: expansion of Medicaid, and an increase in aid to schools, where so many results have been evident from previous increases. (I am being sarcastic about that last part.)
