Writes Rob Ostapiuk:
I need to personally thank you for opening my eyes and eliminating the one objection I had regarding libertarian ideals. Your books and speeches about military spending completely turned me around. I’ve always been mostly in the Libertarian camp, but I was big on defense (or at least that’s what “they” had me calling it). I forget exactly which book of yours I was reading, I think it was Rollback [TW note: yes, it must have been], but I found myself agreeing with everything you had to say. Then suddenly things turned in the chapter on military spending. I was tempted to skip it after the first few pages, but I figured that if I had agreed so strongly with everything else you had to say, I should at least hear you out on this topic. Boy am I glad I did. Since then, I’ve been glued to mises.org among other sites including yours, reading as many books and listening to as many lectures as I can. I have some catching up to do, but it has been a great experience. Thanks for doing what you do.
