Media Matters, the left-wing thought-control site that received a $1 million donation from George Soros, is apparently up in arms that I said on Glenn Beck tonight that bankruptcy may turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to America.  I assumed sentient beings would understand that statement — that bankruptcy will force the federal government to scale back its activities and allow us to start fresh, a semi-free society once again, emancipated from the hopeless and unpayable debt and unfunded liabilities that haunt us.

Oh, wait — now I get why they disliked my remark.
