Well, I can’t complain about 2011, at least personally. Happy household, happy kids, great school, lots of interesting travel, two new books (Rollback and Back on the Road to Serfdom), and the encouragement and support of lots and lots of good people.
Among my most memorable moments this year were presenting Ron Paul a defender of the Constitution award and interviewing both Ron and Rand Paul live at CPAC (1, 2, 3, 4). I’ve had a chance to fill in for Peter Schiff on his radio program a bunch of times, which has been a great experience as well.
One of my resolutions last year was to blog more often, and I’ve tried my best to deliver. I’ve been happy to see traffic up here at the site, and although I can rarely participate in the comments section (I could easily comment a whole day away if I didn’t watch myself) I’m pleased to see so many productive conversations develop, and even some (mostly cordial) disagreement.
I hope to have a couple announcements for you early in 2012 (no, they don’t involve any political ambitions on my part!). But thanks to all of you for reading, watching, and listening to me this year. I’ve enjoyed and learned a lot from the comments and the feedback.
Here’s to a happy and prosperous 2012!
