It seems weird to write about anything other than the virus and the state response.
On the Tom Woods Show I’m trying to cover other things here and there, because on some level life has to go on and it doesn’t do any good to obsess over this.
But it’s hard.
We’ve had our arguments about the numbers and what they mean, but even the most confident voices out there don’t truly know exactly what is going to happen.
We genuinely have to take sensible precautions and wait and see.
However:
It is quite legitimate at a time like this to wonder:
Supposing I survive (which is overwhelmingly likely, of course), will I be financially ruined?
That’s a natural and normal question.
Where to turn for advice during a crisis?
I have a suggestion.
Last year we all enjoyed the Money Revealed docu-series, which featured some smart libertarians and other accomplished folks.
Every day they released another free episode.
The same people have put together Crisis Investing 2020, which will begin to release its own episodes (also free) next week.
Eventually, they will sell the series.
If you want them for free, sign up in advance (i.e., this very second):
