Of course, no other politician will stick to principled positions, actually defying the three-inch “mainstream” our overlords have allowed us to occupy, in an interview like this. For this we are supposed to hate Ron Paul, or call him “extreme” or “weird.” It is evidently not weird, according to such people, to support plastic men who merely flatter us, insult our intelligence, speak in bumper sticker slogans, and never deviate from that glorious continuum from Hillary Clinton to Mitt Romney, where we are assured all sound thinking is to be found.
