Tonight, Ron Paul did what he needed to do. He stood out. He said things that will make a portion of the audience look him up. That’s how people got hooked last time. This is how it can happen again.

As I write this, in the wake of tonight’s Republican debate, he is number 7 on Google Trends. Plastic Man is number 8, to my surprise. No other candidates appear among the top 20 searches. UPDATE: Now #4.
