I received a note via my Contact page to the effect that it was “low” of me to have posted a picture of a Romney crowd from January. Why, didn’t I know the photo was from January? How awful!
Aside from the fact that my post linked to the January article containing the photo, the real point is twofold: (1) The anemic Romney crowd has been a thing of wonder for quite a long time now, so it makes no difference which illustrative example one chooses, whether from January or last week; and (2) Wouldn’t it be worse for Romney to attract only 100 people in January, at the height of primary season and coming off his New Hampshire victory — in other words, a time when people were paying close attention to the race?
