I have an audio file of a lecture that needs noise removed from it. I can do easy noise removal but this one is hard — the fuzziness occurs only when the speaker speaks. Simple noise removal would involve isolating a section of the audio in which the speaker is silent and only the noise can be heard, and telling the program to eliminate that noise throughout. But in between speaking there is no noise at all, so I can’t isolate a sample.
Before I chalk this up to not being doable, I thought I’d ask you folks if any of you might be willing to take a crack at this. In return you will have my gratitude, whatever books you want, and I’ll plug your services to my readers if you so desire. Thank you!
