I’m thrilled to present to you the redesigned TomWoods.com, the new home of the Tom Woods Show! Thanks to the folks at Studio 1 Design for their excellent work. If you like what you see and you’re in the market for design work, Studio 1 Design has agreed to give my readers 10% off any design project through this link.
This change is a good one for a number of reasons.
(1) The old show page was not user-friendly, didn’t have dedicated show-notes pages for each episode, and may not even have been mobile-friendly. All these problems are solved by the new site. We won’t be using the old page, hosted at schiffradio.com, any longer. The show will be posted right here at TomWoods.com.
(2) The new site is more attractive and easier to navigate.
(3) The books page in particular is much easier to navigate.
(4) The home page gives a nice, clean, non-cluttered overview of the major things I do.
A few things to bear in mind:
(1) Right now, if you look at old blog posts, you’ll be seeing a lot of posts about show episodes. That’s because, as I noted above, the old show site didn’t really give me a place to do this. I now have a podcast page where the episodes will be posted, so the blog can go back to being a blog.
(2) Because I didn’t really have show notes on the old site, when you look at the archive of podcasts on the new site, you’ll find the notes to be very skimpy. This will change from now on. Each episode will have good notes, along with links, books, and resources mentioned during the episode, so you won’t have to jot anything down while listening. You can just go to the show notes page for that episode.
(3) The Amazon widget is still there, but now in the left-hand column (scroll down a bit and you’ll find it).
Thanks for stopping by!
