Today’s Tom Woods Letter, which all the influential people receive every weekday. Be one of them.
The good news is, the Contra Cruise was the single greatest event of the past 200 years.
It was truly amazing. Photos and video footage to come.
Bob Murphy came in third in the ship-wide karaoke competition, with 3000 passengers aboard. (And he was robbed, if you ask me.)
Too much to tell you about now.
The bad news: I packed my microphone carelessly, and now no computer will recognize it. So I could not record an episode today [!].
I’m making a trip to Orlando in the morning to get something that can hold me over for a few days until Amazon delivers the precise mic I need. So the only day I will have had to skip was today (Monday). From now on I’ll always keep a spare in reserve.
On the other hand, I did release a bonus episode of the show.
My guest: Daniel Levis, the email master I consulted with to get help in my own email campaigns to promote LibertyClassroom.com.
I can’t say I was surprised to learn that Daniel — a marketing genius who could sell you sand in the desert — was a libertarian.
Marketing is a despised profession. Liberals, conservatives, and even (I am very sorry to say) libertarians have been heard to deride marketers as people who manufacture wants among the population, and who contribute nothing to human welfare.
The only people who appreciate what marketers do are the pro-capitalist libertarians still to be found out there. So I’m not surprised to discover a marketer with libertarian leanings. After all, who else celebrates rather than despises what a marketer does?
If you want to be successful online, you have to know how to build an email list and how to sell to that list. Almost no one does.
Daniel is one of the best in the business, which is why I hired him myself.
